What an incredible feeling of joy and contentment I have while I’m writing this post. Here it is, Issue 2 of Good Enough Darling magazine! In this issue two inspiring and beautiful people share their story. What appealed to me is that both were struggling to talk about it or identify exactly what was going on in their body. We are extremely grateful to Lela and Raluca for sharing with so much honesty and generosity their own experiences.
When you feel down, don’t be ashamed to ask for help, it can be from a doctor, from a good friend, a family member. Online, on Facebook for example, there are a lot of conversation groups, go and share your experience and feelings. You are not alone.
Last but not least, in this issue we will take you to Israel and its peaceful landscapes.
Enjoy the journey and look up!
ps: see you next month for new positive content
In a world where every day, people collapse at work or come back home with one sentence in mind “I can’t do it anymore”, it is incredibly rejoicing to see that in the mean time there are people who search and experiment how they could make our environment and everyday life a little bit better. When I say, a little bit better, I mean a little less stressful. This is what Justine Kontou ,curator and art director, did with her concept and installation Contemplation Spaces
Behind those two words is a great cooperation of multiple artists, designers but also an architect and a psychologist with one same goal, allow the mind of the visitor to wander, to escape from the cold reality.
During Dutch Design Week the first edition of ‘Contemplation Spaces” can be seen at The Student Hotel in Eindhoven. Yesterday morning, yours truly went there to test and see it in real. What can I say? It is very surprising and yes, I definitely felt much more relaxed and joyful afterwards. So, here at Good Enough Darling we give a huge congrats to Justine and her crew with this great idea and wish that very soon, in every office, every hospital, every university we will see a lot of Contemplation Spaces pop up.
Wish you all a peaceful day!
Hello beautiful stranger! Let me introduce myself. My name is Carole Rey and I’m the founder of the Good Enough Darling magazine. In the past I’ve been through a burnout twice and felt pretty alone and powerless. That is the reason why I came with the idea of a feel good and positive magazine to help you go through this difficult moment of your life. This magazine is also meant to be a place where people, like you and I, come to share their experience with burnout.
Thanks to my burnouts, I discovered the relaxing effect of photography and the joy of capturing the beauty in every day life. My photos, that are part of my recovery, can be seen on my personal blog and I’m also delighted to photograph for this magazine.
Photography has helped me tremendously, what is helping you? Feel free to share your story @firstname.lastname@example.org or via the contact page .
Much love, Carole
